Marcus Hall, who was shot around midnight Thursday on Pequot Drive in Stamford, died on Saturday after his family took him off life support, said Stamford Police Capt. Tom Barcello.
Barcello said the gunman shot Hall down an alleyway and officers found him on the ground and began lifesaving measures immediately. EMS took over and transported Hall to the hospital in grave condition.
Detectives could not discuss details related to the ongoing investigation, but Barcello did say the teen was the brother of Marquest Hall who is serving a 20-year sentence for the brutal stabbing death of 52-year-old Antonio Muralles outside a downtown McDonald's in 2015.
Hall, who was shot in the head and buttocks, is the second teen to be shot and killed in the past months. Antonio Robinson, 18, was killed in May when he was shot in the back on West Avenue as he walked to a nearby community center to play basketball.
Three young men, two juveniles, have been charged with Robinson’s murder. All will be tried in adult court for the crime.
